Liberty Centre Blues & BBQ will be held the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend in North Liberty. I am trying to get the word out to as many people as possible. Would you be willing to put the information on your Web site and newsletters?
It’s a free, family-friendly event held on Sunday, May 30 from noon until 10pm. All of the Blues artists are from Iowa: Kevin “B.F.” Burt and the Instigators, guitarist Craig Erickson, Bob Dorr and the Blue Band, as well as Iowa Blues Hall of Fame 2008 honoree Dennis “Daddy-O” McMurrin and the Demolition Band. Local vendors line the streets to sell barbecue, as well as participate in the bbq contest. Plus, kids enjoy the free activities such as face painting, bouncy house, fishing, baseball speed zone, obstacle course, climbing wall, bungee run and much more. (Yep, that’s free, too) Meanwhile, the adults can groove to the music while sipping on a beer in the beverage garden.
