As we approach the 10th anniversary of 9-11-01, let’s remember and honor the hundreds of FDNY brothers, and so many other New York Police Department and Port Authority personnel and citizens who died in our country that day.  We also continue to pay tribute to our military men and women who serve in the name of our freedom.

The Des Moines Association of Professional Fire Fighters, Local 4, respectfully invites the citizens of Des Moines and Central Iowa to join us on Friday, Sept. 9, for Red, White and Blue Firefest 2011: A Tribute to 9-11.  In keeping with our local tradition, this tribute includes our Forever Remember T-shirts that are available to purchase and wear with pride.  Proceeds from the T-shirts go to the Welfare Fund to assist fire fighters and their families in times of need.
