Central Iowa Blues Society Finds a New Home at Mainframe Studios!
Des Moines, Iowa – The Central Iowa Blues Society (CIBS) is excited to announce that they have secured a lease agreement with Mainframe Studios in Des Moines, Iowa. This new space will serve as the society’s headquarters and house the prestigious Iowa Blues Hall of Fame.
Located at 900 Keosauqua Way, Mainframe Studios includes several other music-centered non-profits. Their mission to provide affordable workspaces to advance equity and opportunities in the arts was key in opening the door for the Society.
The Iowa Blues Hall of Fame, originally housed at the legendary Blues on Grand, will now have a dedicated space for public viewing. This move will allow the society to further its mission to recognize, honor, and celebrate the rich heritage of blues music in Iowa.
“We are thrilled to have found a new home at Mainframe Studios,” said Scott Allen, President of the Central Iowa Blues Society. “This space will allow us to better serve our members and continue our work in preserving and promoting the blues in Iowa.”
The Central Iowa Blues Society would like to thank Mainframe Studios for their support and partnership in this exciting new chapter for the organization.
