

Four individuals have been selected for induction into the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame in the Class of 2026: Bryce Janey, Erich Gaukel, Dave Steen, and Heath Alan Pattschull.
The induction ceremony for the Class of 2026 will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the River Center, 340 SW 3rdSt in Des Moines. The event will begin with dinner provided by Flying Mango and a performance by the host band featuring Hall Fame members Scott Eggleston, Greg Sutherland, Dwight Dario and Tom Giblin. VIP Tickets are currently available to the public at all CIBS General Membership meetings and events. VIP seating at last year’s event was sold out in advance so don’t delay.

Parking is free ONLY in the designated LOT B. Please enter at the driveway immediately south of 340 SW 3rd Street, then continue west for approximately 400 feet to reach Parking Lot B. Signs will be posted to help guide you.
If all handicapped parking spaces are occupied and you require assistance, the Central Iowa Blues Society (CIBS) will make every effort to help park your vehicle. Please ask for assistance at the entrance. If a volunteer is available, they will park your vehicle and return the keys to you.

Bringing crowds to their feet at the hardest to please and sophisticated night clubs in the Midwest, Reverend Raven and the Chain Smoking Altar Boys play traditional blues, straight up with a big dose of passion. With smoking grooves, served up with hot harmonica and smooth stinging guitar they play original songs peppered with nods to Slim Harpo, Little Walter, Jimmy Rogers, Billy Boy Arnold, Junior Wells and the three Kings.

Each year, The Blues Foundation presents the Keeping the Blues Alive (KBA) Awards to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the Blues around the world.
