CIBS was saddened to hear of the passing of 2008 Iowa Blues Hall of Fame inductee James Kinds on August 19, 2014 at the age of 70. James had been battling health issues for some time. The Drew, Mississippi native has been a fixture in the Dubuque blues scene since he moved there from Chicago in 1993 and formed the All Night Riders.
